One person died following a two-vehicle crash on County Road 17 in Clarence Rockland Wednesday afternoon.
Police say initial information indicates the driver of the car heading westbound struck a transport trailer.
The 97-year-old passenger of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The 89-year-old driver of the car was transported to hospital with non-life–threatening injuries.
The investigation continues.
Russel County OPP has charged the driver of a pick-up truck following a collision where a pedestrian was struck.
The collision happened at a construction site on Ramage Road in Clarence-Rockland, Wednesday. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries.
Police say 20-year-old Dorian REGNIER, of Clarence-Rockland is facing charges including, dangerous operation causing bodily harm.
