A record number of over 140 golfers took part in the 9th annual Clarence-Rockland New Chamber Of Commerce Golf Tournament at Rockland Golf Club yesterday.
Golfers enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had an opportunity to win their share of thousands of dollars in prizes through competitions, an auction, raffles, and draws including free radio advertising, plus concert tickets to Shania Twain courtesy of Hot Country 92.5.
The Chamber’s goal is to support and promote local business, but also give back to the community.
The tournament raised $10,000 for The Rockland Help Centre and Bourget Food Bank.
