A nationwide recall has been announced for numerous vegan milk products in Canada.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says Danone Canada is recalling some Silk and Great Value brand plant-based refrigerated beverages due to possible Listeria contamination.
The recall applies to various Silk brand cartons of almond milk, coconut milk, almond and coconut milk, almond and cashew milk, and oat milk, as well as Great Value brand almond milk.
Most of the recalled products have best-before dates of October 4th and should be thrown out or returned to the place of purchase.
